Seattle-native Aubrey Violeta Gelpieryn first became interested in journalism in the spring of 2015, when she she reported on gentrification in the floating home community.
Since then, Aubrey relocated to Washington, D.C. where she attended American University and majored in broadcast journalism and political science. She was a producer for RT America's first original daytime news program, "In Question" and before line producing the political commentary show "Watching the Hawks." She's spent the four years alternating between Washington D.C. and Seattle, reporting and offering her opinion on a variety of topics. Aubrey aspires to host a talk show and hopes to continue sharing stories with viewers, listeners and readers.
